Carol’s Closet is a program that provides paper products and personal care products for Glastonbury residents in need. Volunteers are preparing for the clients’ visit. They put on their volunteer aprons before loading the paper bags with paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissue, bar soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes. . Carol’s Closet also provides and distributes incontinence products if needed. These items are not covered by SNAP, previously known as the food stamp programs. SNAP covered food only. Carol’s Closet also provides clothing for men and women.
